Group Guidelines

Our groups and events aim to be a safe space for everyone.  We want everyone to feel confident, included and repected, but also free to be themselves.  To keep it this way, we need to follow these guidelines:

Confidentiality:

What's discussed in the group stays in the group.

Respect:

Treat each other with respect and understanding, acknowledging that everyone has different experiences and struggles.

Non-Judgmental Environment:

Create a space where members feel safe to share their struggles without fear of judgment.

Active Participation:

.Everyone is invited to contribute when they feel comfortable, but we also respect the right to remain silent. `

No Bullying or Harassment:

Be kind to everyone at the meeting, and groups that aren't at the meeting.  No racist speech, no sexist speech, no calling out other groups.

No badgering

Curiosity is great, but questions can feel invasive, please respect people's right to not answer.  Remember that people will share when they are ready.

NO abuse.

Racist, sexist or hateful speak is not acceptable and you will be asked to leave.
